Logo design and naming, featuring Belén Segarra

The client’s specifications were straight forward: she is a fan of Belén Segarra and wanted her translation company’s image to show the illustrator’s style.

After leaving her previous brand«deleón» behind, we decided to keep the reference to her last name and came up with lionall, which actually would match quite well with the lion that we later adopted.

We used the font Exo for the logo, reducing the space between characters and taking out the dot in the i, focusing in the lion comming out ot the o as an accent when shown together.

The lionall mascot came to live from one of the sketches from Belén, that we later drew in vectors and applied a color palette to get to the final result.
